*** SD Ballet presentation*** Presentation by the SD Ballet Company will be Thursday, July 1st beginning at 2:00 and again at 3:00 on the lawn of the Lake Andes Carnegie Public Library. Please bring your lawn chairs as no seating will be provided. There is no charge for the program/workshop as it is funded by the South Dakota Humanities Council.

The library just completed the 3rd week of Summer Programming. If your student has not attended the 1st 3 weeks it is not too late to attend. Programming is every day beginning at 1:00 and sessions continue throughout the afternoon until 4:00.

Summer reading is very important for children to not suffer the summer slump. We have “brag tags” for everyone who reads a book, and prizes will be given to readers at the end of the summer. The library has new books for checkout by every age group. Free books will also be given to children who sign up for Summer Reading.
