Library news
The library began summer programming last Monday, the 7th and have had a great turn out of students, but we would enjoy seeing more students. Some programs of interest still on the dock-it for this summer include: SD Ballet Performance, July 1st, at 2:00. If weather permits we will be on the grassy area to the east of the library. If the weather is bad we will be at the Lake Andes Community Center, 207 Main Street, Lake Andes. No charge to attend.
Hoop Dancer Starr Chief Eagle performing on July 15th at 2:00. If weather permits, we will be on the grassy area to the east of the library. If the weather is bad we will be at the Lake Andes Community Center, 207 Main Street, Lake Andes. No charge to attend.
Free books will be given to children ages 0-18 as they complete reading of books throughout the summer. Dog tags featuring the “Tails and Tales” theme will also be given as children complete reading goals throughout the summer.
An Oculus Go is on loan from the South Dakota State Library until July 9th. It is available to anyone age 13 and older. A permission form must be signed by a parent/guardian for use. Use will take place in the library only.
