The library is in the process of developing a reading program to take place in January and February of 2021. It is open to anyone of any age. It does not need to be books checked out of the library. It can be e-books, books you have purchased, a book you want to re-read, a book you read to your children before bed. This program is open to any of the Lake Andes Carnegie Library Patrons. More info in next week’s article.

Reminder that the library will be closing at 3:00 on Dec. 24th and remain closed on Dec. 25th and 26th. The library staff appreciates our patrons for their continued support of the library and wish all a Merry Christmas. The library also appreciates those who volunteer to serve on the library board, those who provide snacks and treats for the people who come to the library, and those who have sent us hats, gloves and scarves to hand out to children this Christmas. Our appreciation to the City Council who is always supportive of changes to make the library a better place.
