Did You Know that a Library can save you money? The Siouxland Libraries of Sioux Falls conducted a Library Card Promotion showing library patrons just how much they can save by borrowing materials for free from the library as opposed to purchasing the same materials. Using the same way to compute savings the Lake Andes Library is saving patrons approximately $4.50 for each book borrowed and a considerable amount for the borrowing of DVDs or magazine subscriptions.

Library cards for persons living within the city limits have no charge. Outside city limits is a $10 charge. Anyone outside city limits who has children attending the Andes Central School District may receive a card for free.
