The Library Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:30 at the Library. It is open to the public. If you plan to attend, please wear a mask. The board will be discussing and voting on a plan for opening to follow during a pandemic, grants that have been applied for by the library, 2020 Census promotion, new employee, and state library conference attendance.

2020 Census promotion is open and we have had some people completing the Census but we need many more. Lake Andes is still below 35% of population completing the Census. The library is here to help you complete it on-line or complete a paper copy if you prefer. Census is open until September 30 at this point.

September is National Library Card month. There is no cost for a library card. It allows you to check out DVDs, magazines, books at the library and it also gives you access to Overdrive online borrowing of materials.
