The library was busy with two events this past week. July 31st the 21 children who completed the requirements of the summer programming at the library and the reading of over 10,000 pages traveled to Wild Water West for a day of fun. Congratulations on your accomplishment.

On Aug 2nd the library hosted Lindsay McDermott with “Meet the Reptiles” program at the Lake Andes Community Center. 69 children and adults were invited to learn about the various reptiles on display and get a chance to touch them. Squeals and applause for the brave people who stepped up to have a millipede or tarantula on their arm or a snake around their neck was heard during the presentation. Submitted photos.
