RE: Rails to Trails Project The Bon Homme Co. Commissioners have followed the lead of Charles Mix Co. Commissioners in not supporting the Rail to Trail Project.
The main reasoning I do not support it is the liability issue.
Using the numbers from Rail to Trail it will take 62 loads of gravel per mile, times seventy miles is 4,368 loads at $500 per load for a total of 2 million dollars plus. This is just part of the expense of this project.
