Dear Editor:

Recently, I received an unexpected call from Mr. Goter. He informed me that Wagner Community School has decided to start a Hall of Fame. He then told me that I was selected to be a member of the inaugural class. To say that I am honored and so humbled by this recognition is an understatement.

I appreciate those individuals that put in the time to research all former student athletes to make their decision. Your role on that committee could not have been an easy one with so many talented athletes having walked those halls.

Memories from my time in Wagner will always be cherished and still come up in casual conversation with old friends. Again, thank you for this honor. I am so blessed to have been a student at Wagner and to have had the coaches I did to help me excel. I’d also like to congratulate all of the other members selected to the inaugural class.
