I called Pierre to see what progress the Feasibility Study has had. They have had a lot of imput from concerned landowners. Most of the trail will go through private property so there is a major liability concern. The next step will be to check all the bridges as most need major repairs. The lawyers from St. Lewis have said that farmers will be inconvienced if the trail is built. There are farmers providing food to feed the world. They need our respect and not be thrown under the bus just to please a few people with tunnel vision. Don't trade for a new bike yet. - Ed Van Gerpen Concerned Landowner
