Rail to Trail Update Tyndall to Platte

I have been contacted by landowners about the letters from the lawyers from St. Louis as they relate to the rail to trail project. When the first letters came to landowners, I took a copy to an official in Pierre.

As I understand, the only way the lawyers can get money to landowners is if the state would abandon this 100 ft. strip of land. The state has no plan to abandon this property. I find it interesting that if this plan is legitimate, don't you think lawyers from South Dakota would be involved? As I have tried to do my homework to represent landowners, my advise is: Don't sign your name to any contract.
