Dear Editor: At 10:03 a.m. today Sept 11 , 2024, I stopped and said a special prayer for the crew and heroic American Freedom Fighter passengers who fought the terrorists on American Airlines Flight 93 that crashed near Shanksville Pennsylvania. Those Americans saved a lot of lives that day including my own. A group of South Dakota and Minnesota farmers were in the Russell building In Washington DC that morning meeting with Senator Levin of Michigan's AG liaison. The Russell building is right next to the capitol. I understand the terrorists target was the US Capitol. We evacuated sometime after the Pentagon was hit around 9 40 am. There is seldom a day goes by that I am not thankful for the brave actions of those Americans aboard United Airlines Flight 93. Because of their actions we was lucky enough to watch our children graduate from High School post-secondary education and enjoy eight wonderful grandchildren. We should never forget those brave passengers who gave their lives to save many others and prevent the destruction of our nation's capitol. Frank Kloucek Scotland
