On Tuesday, July 9, Wagner’s Post 11 Legion squad played host to Alexandria and things did not go well from the start as Wagner would drop this contest by a score of 17-0.

Matt Link started on the mound for the home team and things did not go as he’d have liked. He would face seven batters without recording an out and all seven batters would score. He gave up three hits, one walk, and hit three batters. Brady Cournoyer then came in and did a nice job to calm things down. He allowed two earned runs on two hits while walking no one and striking out one. Joey Cournoyer was next up. He allowed seven runs, three earned, on seven hits while walking one and striking out three. Malakai Segura was the last pitcher for Wagner . He allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks.

Wagner collected just four hits on the night. One each by Segura, Ted Slaba, Christian Doom, and Carlin Hopkins.
