After 32 years of working for the USPS, Tammy Rokusek has decided to retire. Tammy was lucky enough to follow in her father’s, Dean Swanson, footsteps. She started her career at the Geddes Post Office in 1991. Throughout her career, she has worked at Armour, Pickstown, Fairfax, Tripp, Avon, Wagner, Platte, New Holland, and Corsica in various positions. Tammy has enjoyed serving her customers the most and will miss seeing them each day at the window. She has been in Lake Andes since 2011. After 32 years, Tammy has decided to throw away the alarm clock, do all the crocheting she can, and spend time with her nine grandchildren and husband Gary on the farm.

Michelle Greger will take over as OIC (officer in charge) at the Lake Andes Post Office. She started with USPS in 2017 at the Pickstown Post Office. We appreciate our customers working with us during this transition.
