The Lake Andes Health Care Center celebrated Veteran’s Day on Friday, November 10th. The Andes Central Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) students honored the Veterans residing at the Lake Andes Health Care Center by presenting them with Veteran’s Day Baskets. The baskets included a snack, a drink and a handmade patriotic ornament made by the JAG students. The residents were excited to be honored and to have the JAG students come for a visit.

There are 11 Veteran’s living at the facility. They include Norbert Bates, National Guard; Edwin Bruner, Air Force and WWII Veteran; Melvin Chasing Hawk, Army; Delmar Clarke, Navy; Kenneth Gullikson, Army; Arnold Horner, Air Force; Arlen Kucera, Army; Harvey LeClaire, Army; Harold Miller, Marines; Laurence Mischke, Marines; and Norman Woods, Army.
