The Lakers organization which has not met since March 2020, because of the Pandemic, will begin meeting again on Wednesday, May 5th at noon. The May meeting will be held at the meeting room of the Duck In-Waddle Out. The meeting includes a noon meal (cost of $8.00), a business meeting and a short presentation on topics of interest to all. Lakers will meet the 1st Wednesday of each month, unless that date falls on a holiday, for the foreseeable future.

We would be glad to have individuals attend to find out what we are all about. If I had to explain Lakers, I would say it is a gathering of people of the Lake Andes community who are interested in learning about new happenings in our community. We don’t promote anything as a group, but allow our members to learn how they may become involved individually in activities in our community.

We hope to see current members and new members on Wednesday.
