LADY THUNDER FALL NARROWLY TO SCOTLAND/MENNO, 37–34

The Andes Central Lady Thunder traveled to Scotland on Friday night for a doubleheader against the Scotland/Menno Trappers, where they suffered a hard-fought 37–34 loss.

Lily Muckey led the Lady Thunder with 10 points, while Halle Olson and Lily Niewenhuis each added eight. Olson pulled down five rebounds, with Muckey and Niewenhuis collecting four apiece. Olson also dished out six assists, and Muckey recorded four steals.

As a team, Andes Central shot 39 percent from the field, connecting on 15 of 38 attempts. They went 3 of 10 from the free-throw line for 30 percent. The Lady Thunder totaled 22 rebounds and committed 21 turnovers.

The loss drops Andes Central’s record to 0–8.
