The Wagner Volleyball team hosted Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Tuesday, October 31st in the first-round of regions. The Red Raiders swept the Blackhawks in three straight sets with scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 25-20.

Outside hitter Ashlyn Koupal led the attack throwing down 12 kills, Ravyn Medricky added 8, Kya Kjeldgaard earned 7, and Shona Kocer had 6. Macy Koupal moved the ball around well and tallied 34 assists in the win. M. Koupal led behind the service line with 17 points/4 aces, Kjeldgaard earned 11 points/2 aces, A. Koupal added 7 points/3 aces and Madi Knebel had 6 points/2 aces. In the backcourt Knebel led the defense scrapping for 14 digs, while A. Koupal picked up 13, and Kjeldgaard had 10. Wagner was strong at the net with R. Medricky earning 3 stops while M. Koupal and A. Medricky each had 2 on the night.
