The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Colton to take on the Tri-Valley Mustangs on Saturday, September 30th. The Lady Red Raiders showed perseverance and rallied to win in 3 straight sets with scores of 25-18, 25-18, and 27-25.

Senior outside hitter Aubrey Medricky led the attack throwing down 11 kills in the win. Kya Kjeldgaard earned 8 kills and Ashlyn Koupal added 6. Macy Koupal distributed the ball well and tallied 29 assists in the match. M. Koupal led behind the service line with 13 points/2 aces while Madi Knebel and A. Koupal each earned 9 points/1 ace. Senior libero Knebel led all defenders scrapping for 16 digs, M. Koupal picked up 11, and A. Koupal earned 10. Ravyn Medricky had 2 stops up at the net in the match.

The JV team came up short and lost 25-22, 16-25, and 6-15. Outside hitter Hannah Holzbauer led all hitters earning 5 kills. Ravyn Medricky added 4 and Brylie Link had 3 in the match. Braxton Nedved tallied 10 assists in the match. Nedved led all servers racking up 7 points/1 ace and Link added 4 points/1 ace. Libby Kotab led the defense picking up 10 digs along with Shana Lensing adding 9 and Holzbauer had 6.

The C team lost in two sets with scores of 16-25 and 6-25. Holzbauer led the attack with 3 kills and Kylin Insko added 2. Jazlyn Lhotak earned 4 assists in the match. Behind the service line Brianna Fuchs earned 4 points/3 aces and Rico Fishcer added 3 points/1 ace. In the back court Holzbauer picked up 5 digs while Insko and Fischer each had 3.

The Wagner Volleyball team travels to Armour on Monday, October 2nd to take on the Nighthawks and then will host Scotland on Tuesday, October 3rd. They then wrap up the week on Saturday, October 7th hosting Canton.
