The Red Raider Volleyball team came out ready to play against the Parkston Trojans in Region play Tuesday, October 31st. The Lady Red Raiders took revenge with the big win with scores of 25-18, 25-17, 16-25 and 25-16.

Wagner’s front line came out swinging. Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Kya Kjeldgaard led all hitters with 17 and 11 kills. Shona Kocer put away 8 while Aubrey Medircky and Macy Koupal each had 5. Ravyn Medricky also added 4. Setter M. Koupal distributed the ball well and tallied 40 assists in the win. Behind the service line M. Koupal racked up 21 points/2 aces, Madi Knebel added 11 points/3 aces, A. Koupal tallied 9 points and Kocer had 7 points/1 ace. Libero Madi Knebel led the defense scrapping for 25 digs, Kjeldgaard picked up 20 and A. Koupal tallied 15, M. Koupal added 11, and Braxton Nedved had 6. Up at the net the Wagner wall was solid with Kocer putting up 8 stops, M. Koupal added 4, A. Medricky with 3, and both A. Koupal and R. Medricky each had 2.

Wagner continues its post season by earning a spot in the SoDak 16 which takes place Tuesday, November 7th. Wagner will travel to Pierre to take on Mobridge-Pollock with the match time of 6:30 p.m. School will be dismissed at 2:30 that day.
