LADY RAIDERS WIN BATTLE AGAINST THE NIGHTHAWKS

The Wagner Volleyball team met up with a tough Tripp/Delmont/Armour team on Monday, October 6th. It was a battle to the end but the Lady Raiders tallied another win with scores of 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, and 25-21. Junior middle hitter Ravyn Medricky came out swinging and put away 24 kills. Hannah Holzbauer added 14 and Mateya Bruguier had 8. Setter Braxton Nedved racked up 43 assists in the win. Brylie Link was on fire behind the service line tallying 23 points, Brianna Fuchs added 15 points/3 aces and Holzbauer had 10 points/1 ace. Senior libero Libby Kotab was all over the floor picking up 27 digs along with Hannah Holzbauer scrambling for 24 digs. Medricky added 13 digs, Link had 12, and Fuchs had 10. The Wagner Wall was led by Medricky with a big night at the net putting up 6 solo blocks along with Bruguier earning 3, Link 2, and Holzbauer and Fuchs each had 1.

The JV battled and won a tight match with scores of 21-25, 25-22, and 15-5. Outside hitter Camry Link threw down 14 kills, Mila Hopkins added 6 and Ashtyn Bruguier had 5. Kylin Inkso accumulated 21 assists and Mila Hopkins had 10. Insko led all servers racking up 11 points/3 aces, Adara Hopkins tallied 9 points/3 aces, A. Bruguier added 9 points/1 ace and M. Hopkins had 5 points 3 aces. A. Hopkins led the defense scrambling for 34 digs, M. Hopkins and Hayden Knudsen each added 11, while C. Link had 10 and Insko had 9. TDA did not have a C team. Ravyn Medricky was chosen as KDKO Player of the Match.
