The Lady Raider Volleyball team traveled to Vermillion on Thursday, August 24th to face the Tanagers. The Raiders came on strong and earned the win with scores of 25-9, 25-18, and 25-12.

Up at the net Shona Kocer and Ashlyn Koupal led the attack with 8 kills apiece, while Ravyn Medricky earned 5 of her own. Kya Kjeldgaard and Aubrey Medricky also tallied 3 in the win. Setter Macy Koupal distributed the ball well to her hitters and racked up 21 assists. M. Koupal led behind the service line with 18 points/4 aces, Kjeldgaard earned 11 points/1 ace, and A. Medricky added 10 points/4 aces. Madi Knebel and A. Koupal led the defense each scrapping for 18 digs. Kjeldgaard also picked up 8 on the night. Up at the net A.Koupal and Kocer each had 4 blocks while R. Medricky added 3 stops and A. Medricky had 2 in the win.

Wagner JV played well but came up short with scores of 20-25 and 23-25. Leading the attack were Hannah Holzbauer with 6 kills and R. Medricky and Braxton Nedved had 3 apiece. Nedved dished out 10 assists on the night and led all servers with 10 points/6 aces. In the back court Holzbauer picked up 3 digs while Shana Lensing, Brianna Fuchs, and Libby Kotab each had 2. R. Medricky led all blockers with 2 while Brylie Link and Mateya Bruguier each put up 1.

Wagner C team picked up its first win of the season with scores of 25-19 and 25-17. Up at the net M. Bruguier, B. Fuchs, and Ashtyn Bruguier had 3 kills apiece in the win. Setters Jazlyn Lhotak and Kylin Insko tallied 5 and 2 assists. Behind the service line Lhotak earned 9 points/5 aces, Insko added 8 points/2 aces and Hayden Fischer had 6 points/6 aces. Holzbauer led all defenders with 6 digs while B. Fuchs and Fischer each picked up 3. B. Fuchs and A. Bruguier each had 1 block in the match
