Wagner traveled to Avon on Tuesday, September 12th to take on the Pirates. Wagner came out swinging and competed well as a team. Scores of the match were 25-16, 25-21, and 25-16.

Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Kya Kjeldgaard thew down 12 and 11 kills in the win. Aubrey Medricky, Shona Kocer and Ravyn Medricky also had 6 kills apiece. Setter Macy Koupal distributed the ball well to her hitters and racked up 36 assists. Kjeldgaard led behind the service line with 9 points/4 aces, M. Koupal added 9 points/1 ace and A. Koupal had 9 points in the match. Senior libero Madi Knebel led the defense picking up 15 digs along with Kjeldgaard earning 11 and A. Koupal adding 10. Up at the net A. Medricky had 3 blocks and Kocer added 2.

The JV battled back and won in 3 sets with scores of 27-29, 25-19, and 15-8. R. Medricky led all attackers with 6 kills while Hannah Holzbauer, Brianna Fuchs, and Braxton Nedved each earned 3. Nedved also dished out 9 assists in the win. Libby Kotab led all servers with 17 points/7 aces, B.Fuchs added 6 points/3 aces and R. Medricky had 4 points/2 aces. In the back court Shana Lensing had 4 digs and Kotab had 3. R. Medricky put up one solo block in the match.

The C team fell short and lost with scores of 16-25 and 24-26. Ashtyn Bruguier earned 4 kills while Kylin Insko, Mateya Bruguier, and Rico Fischer all added 2 on the night. Setters Insko and Jazlyn Lhotak tallied 6 and 5 assists in the match. Behind the service line Holzbauer racked up 8 points/6 aces and Lhotak had 5 points/2 aces. Holzbauer led the defense scrapping for 14 digs while Hayden Fischer earned 9, and B. Fuchs had 7. Emma Kreeger had 3 blocks on the night.

The Wagner varsity participates in the Cavalier Clash on Saturday, September 16th. On Tuesday, September 19th we host Bon Homme and on Thursday September 21st we travel to Kimball to take on Kimball/White Lake.
