The Wagner Volleyball team hosted the AC/DC Thunder on Thursday, October 16th. The Lady Raiders came out ready to play and swept the Thunder with scores of 25-6, 25-11, and 25-18. It was parent’s night and Senior Night as we thanked our parents and recognized our three amazing seniors: Libby Kotab, Brylie Link and Ashlyn Koupal. These three ladies will surely be missed!

Hannah Holzbauer led all attackers throwing down 10 kills, Ravyn Medricky tallied 9 and Mateya Bruguier had 7. Braxton Nedved racked up 28 assists in the win. Brylie Link was on fire behind the service line recording 19 points/5 aces and Nedved added 12 points/4 aces. Libby Kotab led the defense picking up 6 digs while Holzbauer and Medricky each had 5. Nedved put up 2 stops up at the net while Medricky and M. Bruguier each had 1.

The JV picked up a nice win with scores of 25-5 and 25-13. Katrina Brown Bear led at the net with 4 kills while teammates Mila Hopkins, Adara Hopkins, and Emma Kreeger each had 3 in the win. Kylin Insko tallied 7 assists. Insko led behind the service line racking up 9 points/5 aces, Hayden Knudsen added 8 points/4 aces, M. Hopkins tallied 5 points/5 aces, and Ashtyn Bruguier had 6 points/3 aces. A. Hopkins picked up 6 digs and Knudsen had 3.

The C team scrimmaged the Wagner Junior High A team and came away with the win with scores of 25-18 and 25-18. Peytyn Wiechmann led up at the net putting away 7 kills while Tegan Langdeaux had 3. Emma Turner dished out 10 assists on the night. Kymani Gullikson racked up 11 points/4 aces and Langdeaux added 6 points/4 aces. Gullikson hustled after 4 digs and Wiechmann and Emma McNinch each added 3.

We wish our three seniors Libby Kotab, Brylie Link and Ashlyn Koupal nothing but the best in their future endeavors and thank them for their hard work, leadership and dedication over the last four years.
