The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Kimball on Thursday, September 25th to face the Kimball/White Lake Wildcats. The Lady Raiders picked up another nice win making their record 10-2 with scores of 25-20, 25-16, and 25-14.
Ashlyn Koupal led at the net throwing down 12 kills, Ravyn Medricky tallied 9, Hannah Holzbauer added 8 while Brylie Link and Braxton Nedved each had 5. Nedved dished out 33 assists in the win. Libby Kotab led behind the service line racking up 15 points, Medricky added 9 points/3 aces, Nedved had 6 points/4 aces and Holzbauer had 6 points/3 aces. Kotab scrambled for 18 digs, Holzbauer hustled after 15, Nedved picked up 14, Medricky added 10 and Adara Hopkins had 7. Koupal and Medricky each earned a stop up at the net.
The JV improved their record to 11-1 with scores of 25-18 and 25-13. A. Hopkins led all attackers with 6 while Ashtyn and Mateya Bruguier each had 3. Mila Hopkins dished out 8 assists while Kylin Insko added 7 in the match. Behind the service line Camry Link earned 9 points/1 ace, A. Bruguier added 7 points/3 aces, Insko had 6 points/1 ace. A. Hopkins led the defense with 9 digs, C. Link picked up 7, while M. Bruguier, M. Hopkins, and Inkso added 6 apiece. A. Hopkins and M. Bruguier each had 2 stops up at the net.
C team added another win to their now 4-3 record with scores of 25-15 and 25-5. Ty’Shay Medicine Bear led the attack with 7 kills while Taelyn Knebel, Tegan Langdeau, Reayon Fool Bull and Peytyn Wiechmann each had 2. Emma Turner dished out 7 assists in the win. Ava Orozco led the way at the service line with 15 points/2 aces, Knebel added 7 points/2 aces, Turner and Langdeau had 6 points/3 aces, and Medicine Bear had 5 points/3 aces. Medicine Bear also led the defense picking up 7 digs and Emma McNinch added 3.
