The Wagner Volleyball team traveled to Hanson on Tuesday, September 27th. The Varsity and JV came away with wins and the C team split 1-1 due to time restraints. The varsity put up a solid win with scores of 25-14, 25-16 and 25-16. The Lady Raiders are on a 11 match winning streak and are continuing to improve with every match.

Leading the attack at the net were Emma Yost with 14 kills, Shona Kocer with 8 kills, Avari Bruguier with 6 kills, Shalayne Nagel and Kya Kjeldgaard each with 5 kills on the night. Setter Macy Koupal spread the ball around to her hitters earning 28 assists in the win. At the service line M. Koupal racked up 13 points/6 aces, Madi Knebel tallied 7 points/2 aces, A. Bruguier added 6 points/1 ace, while E. Yost and Kjeldgaard each contributed 5 points/1 ace. Leading the defense was M. Koupal with 14 digs along with E. Yost picking up 9 digs, Bruguier scrapped for 6 digs and Knebel and Nagel each earned 5 in the match. Up at the net Shona Kocer led all blockers with 5 stops, Nagel earned 3, and M. Koupal 2.

The JV team picked up another win with scores of 2521 and 25-22. Outside hitters Ashlyn Koupal and Aubrey Medricky had 9 and 8 kills, along with McKenzie Fuchs adding 3 in the win. Lydia Yost dished out 13 assists while Braxton Nedved had 6 of her own. A. Medricky racked up 5 points/4 aces at the service line. Nedved led the defense with 6 digs, A. Medricky picked up 5 and L. Yost had 4.

The C team split due to time restraints with scores of 25-16 and 19-25. Brylie Link and Shana Lensing had 3 kills in the match. B. Nedved had 9 assists on the night. Behind the service line Cadence Bernie led all servers with 9 points/5 aces, Link added 8 points/2 aces, and Nedved had 4 points/2 aces. Nedved led the defense and picked up 8 digs while Libby Kotab scrambled for 4 of her own. Link earned 1 block in the match.
