Wagner hosted the Bon Homme Cavaliers on Tuesday, September 23rd. The Red Raiders came out ready to play and walked away with a clean sweep of scores with 25-19, 25-6, and 25-16.
Outside hitter Hannah Holzbauer led the attack throwing down 11 kills. Ravyn Medricky pounded 9 while Ashlyn Koupal had 8 in the win. Junior setter Braxton Nedved dished out 29 assists while also achieving her 1,000th career assist. Holzbauer led at the service line racking up 12 points/9 aces, Libby Kotab earned 12 points/4 aces, Medricky had 9 points/1 ace, and Brylie Link 8 points/1 ace. Leading the defense was Medricky picking up 14 digs, Kotab added 8 and Holzbauer with 6. Medricky and Link each earned a stop in the match.
The JV team added another tally in the win column with scores of 25-12, 8-25, and 15-7. Mateya Bruguier led the attack with 5 kills while Camry Link and Kylin Insko added 3 apiece. Setters Kylin Insko and Mila Hopkins dished out 7 and 6 assists respectively. Adara Hopkins scrapped for 9 digs and M. Hopkins picked up 5. Ashtyn Bruguier dominated at the service line earning 13 points/2 aces and M. Hopkins 6 points /2 aces.
The C team came up short with scores of 19-25 and 2325. Taelyn Knebel and Tegan Langdeaux each racked up 5 kills while Ty’Shay Medicine Bear added 3. 8th grade setter Emma Turner dished out 10 assists in the match. In the backcourt Turner picked up 4 digs while Peytyn Wiechmann, Izzy Myer, Medicine Bear, Ava Orozco, and Emma Mcninch each had 3. Behind the service line Orozco tallied 10 points/1 ace and Turner added 6 points 1 ace.
