Avon hosted Freeman Academy/ Marion on Tuesday, January 10th for a double-header. The Lady Pirates came out strong to take the lead and never looked back taking the win 51-39.

Leading the scoring attack was Courtney Sees with 20 points. Lila Vanderlei had 13 for the night and McKenna Kocmich added 8.

Lila Vanderlei pulled down7 rebounds and Courtney Sees had 6 for the night.

Lila Vanderlei and McKenna Kocmich each had 4 assists, and Courtney Sees took away 5 steals for the night.

The Lady Pirates traveled to Scotland Thursday, Jan. 12th where they suffered the loss 49-53.

Courtney Sees led on the scoreboards with 22 points, McKenna Kocmich added 15 and Lila Vanderlei had 6.

Courtney Sees and Lila Vanderlei each had 7 rebounds.

Courtney Sees and McKenna Kocmich each had 3 assists.

Courtney Sees took away 4 steals from the Highlanders.
