Rilyn Thury led the Pirates on the scoreboard with 23 points, while Jordyn Voigt added 11 and Brielle Voigt chipped in 10. Thury and Jordyn Voigt each pulled down eight rebounds to control the boards for Avon. On the defensive end, Thury and Brielle Voigt were active, recording four steals apiece. As a team, the Lady Pirates shot 35 percent from the field, connecting on 16 of 46 attempts. Avon was solid from beyond the arc, hitting 7 of 18 three-point shots for 39 percent. The Pirates shot 32 percent on two-point attempts (9 of 28) and went 15 of 24 from the free throw line for 32 percent. Avon committed nine turnovers in the win.
