Karlie Marie DeVries was born on September 13th, 2006 to Jenelle Pekas and Aaron Pinkleman. She has a stepfather, Aaron Pekas, and two siblings, Austin and Kensley. In Karlie's free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and reading. Karlie’s favorite subject in school is anatomy because she enjoys learning about the human body. A quote she lives by is, “You can’t fly unless you let yourself fall” - Justin Bieber. When asked who her biggest role model is, she said, “My mom is my biggest role model; she is the one constant in my life.” Her advice to the underclassman is to not procrastinate, and take it in because it goes by faster than you think. One of Karlie’s accomplishments at AHS is being named best pitcher in softball sophomore year. Karlie plans on attending Mitchell Tech in the Medical Office Professional Program. Her favorite memory from her time at AHS was cheering at the dome. The thing Karlie is going to miss most about AHS is her class because they have grown together so much over the last 12 years.
