The JV boys team traveled to Corsica Tuesday night. Wagner jumped out to a 15-11 lead after the first period. The Jaguars outscored Wagner by three in the second period, the score at half tie was 24-23 in favor of Wagner. Both teams scored 8 points in the third period, Corsica Stickney did just enough in the fourth quarter to win the game 42-41. Payne Petry led all scorers with 15 points in the game. Colton Zephier and Jackson Woods each scored 10 for Wagner. AJ Kotab and Ron Knudsen each scored 3. The JV team will be in action again on Thursday at home against Scotland/Menno.

Wagner Varsity Wins in Corsica The Wager varsity boys basketball team improved to 10-2 on Tuesday night in Corsica. The Raiders relied on their defense to pick up the victory. Wagner held the Jaguars to 25% shooting and out rebounded their opponent 38-30. The difference in the score came in the second quarter, Wagner held the Jags to 5 points and took a 20-12 lead into the half. Wagner held off a few late runs and won the game 41-34. Ky Arpan had another big game, he scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Jesse Zephier scored 9 points, had 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Jakhi Tiger scored 9 points and had 3 assists, Michael Koupal added 8 points and 6 rebounds. Wagner plays again on Thursday against Scotland/Menno.
