MATTHEW 7:21-23 "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me , ye that work iniquity."(KJV)

In this day we see many churches, doing a lot of good. Food drives, clothing give away open to all free meals. We find that in these churches a teaching about working out your salvation. This simply means the more good things that you do for others the better your chance is that you will go to heaven.

The main problem with this teaching is that it is what you do that gets you to heaven, totally ignoring all that Jesus did. As if going thru Jesus is not necessary. If that were the case, A question should pop up in your mind, then what purpose was there for Jesus, the only begotten Son of God to be born, live, die on a cross-and rise again to return to heaven?

Why would Jesus have said in JOHN 4:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(KJV)

When teachers teach that a person can get to heaven because of their own works--their teachings are false.

God only accepts things that are done His way. That is why after many say unto him, Lord, Lord, find that they are rejected and are called workers of iniquity.

Satan sets up many teachings that sound legitimate, but remember Jesus called Him a liar and the father of it.

JOHN 8:44 "Ye are of your Father the devil, and the lusts of your Father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in Him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of himself: for he is a liar and the father of it."(KJV)

Just because a building has a sign that says "church" be sure that what is taught in there is the truth and not some false teaching. Which all come from Satan.

Remember that BIBLE stands for Bible Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

The truth shall make you free.
