WHAT ARE WE DOING?

JOHN 19: 25-30 This scripture is given to record the last minutes of Jesus on the cross also allowing us to know that even at His last breath and blood were leaving Him, after He had been scourged and previous beating hanging there on the cross, so badly ripped up to the point that He was unrecognizable by His own mother, who was there at the cross. He expressed His compassion on her.

JOHN 19: 25-30 "Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdaline. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, (who must have been in much sorrow for her son) and the disciple standing by, whom He loved, He saith unto His mother, woman behold thy son! (He knew that after the scourging and His beard being pulled out by the handfuls-that He had to say) woman behold thy son (that is to say "it is me"). Then saith he to the disciple behold thy mother (knowing that she was in such pain for Jesus hanging on the cross) and from that hour that disciple took her to his own home. (This then allowed His mother to not have to witness the last breath and last drops of blood from Him and to see Him die) After this( Jesus knowing His mother was gone away to the disciples home, (Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled) saith,I thirst. Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished (indicating that He had done obediently what God the Father commissioned Him to do) and He bowed His head , and gave up the Ghost."(KJV)

Even to His dying breath Jesus gave compassion to His mother.

Today Jesus has compassion for any and all who will repent and believe in Him, in His compassion and love for all mankind He forgives, and gives them eternal life.

He never complained, He never spoke a word against those crucifying Him and He had compassion on them for they did not know they were fulfilling prophecy.

He did this out of love for us

What are we doing out of love for Him?
