P ROVERBS 30:24-28 'There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.' (KJV) When we look at this passage of Scriptures we can see that the ants, the conies, the locusts, and the spider are all cared for by God when they follow God's plan for their survival.
They are small and yet they do what the Lord gives them to do--without fail. They follow God's plan for them completely.
But as we compare man to these, God created small things and their obedience to His plans, we find that man very often follows his own plans.
Our Scriptures tell us that man is evil and thinks that what ever he does is perfectly okay for him.
But God has given man a free will to choose things---good or evil.
But unlike the ants, conies, locusts, and spiders, God has given us a complete set of instructions for us to have a happy and joyful life here on Earth and a special promise of eternal salvation if His instructions in His Word are followed.
The ants, conies, locusts, and spider do not have a Bible---they follow God's plan for a successful life--instinctually.
But man must choose to live his life for the Lord. Man's eternal security depends upon doing things in his life God's way.
There is no other way of survival for man but to do it His way.
Jesus is the way. Without Him there is no future happiness forever.
The ants, the conies, the locusts, and the spider are smart enough to follow His plan for them.
People must be born again to receive God's blessings, and His promise of His blessings in heaven forever.
