Submitted by Dr. James Schirtzinger, D.D. Pastor/Founder of the Grace Baptist Church, Lake Andes since 1988 P salm 91:1-12 'He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 27:5, Psalm 32:2) I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.(Psalm 147:5) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.( Psalm124:7) He shall cover thee with his feathers and under his wings thou shalt trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 18:4) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night: nor for the arrow that flieth by day Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor for the destruction that wasteth at noon day.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh (close) thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation.
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling (Proverbs 12:11) For he shall give thee his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thy dash thy foot against a stone' (Matthew4:6) (KJV) We can learn from these scriptures that there is no need to fear.
It is said 'there is nothing to fear but fear itself,' said by President Truman.
He was right--If we place ourselves in the care of the Lord--He is our refuge,He is our fortress against all evil forces no matter what may come our way, trusting in Him will get us through anything. No evil no plague (sickness) can come upon you, as you trust in the Lord to care for you.
Placing our true faith in the Lord, He will see that no evil will come upon you.
Evil comes from Satan and God can and will overpower Satan's influence over us, if we place our trust in the Lord.
Remember that the Lord is our refuge.
Do you turn to him in need?
