Submitted By Dr. James Schirtzinger, D.D.

Pastor/Founder of the Grace Baptist Church, Lake Andes since 1988 P SALM 89:7-16 'God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence of all them that are about him. O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea, when the waves thereof arise, stillest them. Thou hast broken Ra hab in pieces , as one that is slain, thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm. The heavens are thins, the earth also in thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thouu hast founded them. The north and the south thou hast created them: Ta-bor amd Hermon shall rejoice in thy name. Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand. Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face. Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O lord in the light of thy countenance. In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and thy righteousness shall be exalted.' (KJV) As we look into this PSALM we see that there is no other like the Lord. He has created all things and has total control of all of them.

God is to be feared in the assembly, both because He is God and can bless and curse the actions of man. He is to be reverenced by all that are about Him.

He is God of our assembly and we reverence Him each and every we are assembled together Blessed are the people who shall walk after the Lord in their life.

He is the Light, and in His name we shall live in the light of His countenance. He is the Light. And in His name we shall rejoice all the day long, and should recognize His righteousness and daily lift Him up in our prayers and daily actions.

Do you rejoice in His name?
