HAGGAI 1: 4,5
Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your paneled houses, and this house lay waste?
Now therefore thus saith the Lord of Hosts: consider your ways.
When we think of people that are created by God and refuse to have anything to do with Him. They live in their houses, furnished, with heat in the winter, and air conditioning in the summer and do not even think of attending God's House, for a short time on Sunday. They ignore coming to the House of God to pray and thank Him for all He does for you all week.
People are so caught up in the world and the worldliness to have time to consider the righteousness of God. They are to much involved in the 'I' and 'ME' to not think of 'HIM' God wants you to be happy, because He loves you, supplies all your needs to survive on this Earth, and has given you a promise of everlasting life--if you do it His way.
As we look around us, we see that doing things His way, seems to be the farthest thing from their minds.
Look again at HAGGAI 1:5 it says consider your ways.
Wemustcheckourselvesto make ourselves known as to what we are doing every day.
Does any part of our daily activity actually be done for the Glory of God?
God doesn't take His eyes, and His ears away from us for even a second of the day, and yet people will go all day, every day without thinking of Him.
God is not just God on Sunday. He is God all day and night every day and night.
So it is time that people staying home on Sunday should realize who they are ignoring and remember that when they need something that only God can provide for them--He might just ignore your request.
Make attending services on Sunday a priority, reading your Bible a priority, and living your life according to the Bible a priority-- and watch God bless you.
Check yourself---how are you doing?
