PROVERBS 22:2 'The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.'
PROVERBS 29:18 'The poor and the deceitful meet together: the Lord lighteneth both their eyes.' (KJV) We are reminded in these scripture verses that the Lord is the maker of all men.
When we hear stories about people who do not look like us--blacks, browns, slanted eyes and other differences we must realize, that no matter what they look like or what color they are or what nationality they come from, that God created them all to love, Honor, and to serve Him.
Our Bible tells us that there is no respect of persons with God. This means there is not have a special group of people that He likes better than all the others.
God doesn't look on the outside of a person, but He looks upon the soul. Our bodies and color and nationality will fade away at death. But our soul will live on forever.
We must do as God does and look on others as valuable souls, and not as they appear.
We should treat them as God's creation that He wants to share heaven with. He didn't just die for certain ones, He died for all souls-and gave them all equally a chance to receive His free pardon of sin.
So rich, poor, or in-between, they are all His creation and we should do our best to turn those souls over to Jesus.
Do not pick and choose-God doesn't and we shouldn't.
How do you look at others?
