P ROVERBS 18:10 'The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and are safe.' (KJV) PSALM 18:12 'The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer: my God my strength, in whom I will trust: my buckler, and the horn of my salvation and my high tower.' (KJV) PSALM 61:3 'For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.' (KJV) As we can see in these scriptures, the Lord is our protector from the enemy-- Satan. The more we stay close to the Lord, the harder it is for Satan to infiltrate our minds to sin.

JAMES 4:7-8 Tells us we should 7) 'Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8) Draw nigh (close) to God and he will draw nigh (close) to you.' (KJV) JAMES 4:10 'Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.' (KJV) We cannot out wit Satan as he is stronger than we are. But as we humble ourselves, submit ourselves unto the Lord, rebuke the devil, he will flee from us.

God is Satan's creator, evermore powerful that he is. When troubles come our way the first thing we should do--is go to God, seek His wisdom, ask for His help--He is our strong tower in all times of need.

Our success in being righteous is to live our life for the Lord, Know His Word and follow it. It will work if we stay close to God.
