Because I have called, and ye have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at naught all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.' (KJV) Psalm 112:7 'He shall not be afraid of evil doings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.'(KJV) These Scripture verses seem to be describing our world today.
God has given us His Word to know His wishes. Yet many people--first--do not know them, and secondly--decide to ignore them.
The Scriptures tell us that there is a point in time (which I believe is coming soon) that the Lord will be fed up with all those who refuse to believe His Words, to believe that He loves them, to believe that He will forgive those repentant sinners and offer them eternal life.
Consequently--there is coming a time when He refuses to listen to them when they cry out to Him. Simply because they refused to listen to Him when He called out to them.
Now they will see and have to regard His refusal to fix their calamities they brought upon themselves.
He will laugh at them and will mock when their fear cometh.
But---for those who listen to His Word and follow them He shall see that they will dwell safely and will not fear the evil around them.
It is time we see this coming and that we impolitely tell others that all this is just over the horizon.
REVELATION--has explained it all and shows the reward for the faithful and the curse of those who have decided not to be faithful.
We are living in those times---soon it will be over.
Lost people will be in so much fear that they will try to get away from the wrath of God--but it will be too late.
We have a great challenge before us and little time to complete it.
But don't you think that we must be trying?
