WHAT IS YOUR VISION?
By
Submitted By Dr. James Schirtzinger, D.D. Pastor/founder Of The Grace Baptist Church, Lake Andes Since 1988

P roverbs 27:18 'Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keeps the law, happy is he.' (KJV) This scripture tells of the coming year. Without looking around us, and around the world, and around our country which it seemingly is doomed by expanding evil.

We must look ahead for the vision of what God wants. He has put into our hearts and souls here the souls of those close around us, and around the world to be Gloriously saved through Jesus Christ His Son.

Unfortunately by watching what is going on around us and the country and the world it doesn't seem that people care what is going on about them spiritually.

Our Bible tells us that God wants us to love, honor, and to serve Him. If we are willing to do that, He is willing to give us peace, joy, and happiness on this Earth and the future world to come.

Many people have lost their faith in a future of happiness, but if people will turn back to God they will realize His promises are real and true.

To do this people must have a vision of the upcoming year, to live for Him to the best of their ability. To win souls to the Lord, to spread His Word, to add to the church more faithful souls who will also have this vision of the future.

This vision will come to pass only if we do it God's Way.

11 CHRONICLES 7:14 'If My people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.' (KJV) God did it for Israel, He will do it again.

We must have a personal vision of the souls of othersor as the Scripture says, 'they will perish.'

This new year, what is your vision?
