Psalm 46:1,7: 'God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.' (KJV) Psalm46:7: 'The lord of Hosts is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.'(KJV) Psalm 46:10,11:10 'Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth.

11) 'The Lord of Hosts is with us: the God of Jacob is our refuge.'(KJV) We are witnessing very much devastation across our Nation. Fire rampaging our West Coast, homes gone, business burned to the ground, floods in areas that usually have little rain, the Grand Canyon is being filled up, droughts in the North, crops are drying up for lack of rain, the Gulf Coast has had several disasters in Texas area, many tornadoes in the Midwest and lately hurricanes have devastated states with extreme damage to homes and towns and leaving them flat or flooded.

In all these areas devastation on people and their personal worldly possessions have now become piles of rubbish, all gone. Many people have died as a result of these situations.

Thosewhohavelivedthrough them turn to help, safety places for food clothing, places to go for shelter. Help comes, but soon passes and then the people say, 'What shall we do now?' for all is lost for them.

This is the time when there is but one to call on, Psalm 46: 1,7,10 and 11 come to mind. God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble.

They try everything else before they realize that only God can make good come from all their trouble.

After people exhaust every other way for help, they call on the God of Heaven who they have ignored all their life. Our Bible says that all things are good for those who love the Lord Call on Him, honor Him and serve Him. Now when they see that He does care they trust that He will do what He says, this is a perfect time for them to turn back to God who blessed this country when the people followed Him in their life, in prayer, in family, in church and believed and trusted and followed God's Word, the Bible.

Are you living your life hoping not to have to live your life of devastation or have you turned back to relying on God being your rescue in time of trouble?
