WHO IS YOUR SHEPHERD?

Submitted By Dr. James Schirtzinger, D.d.

MARK 6:30-34 30) ' And the disciples gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

31) And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming, and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

32) And they departed into a desert place by ship privatly.

33) And people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of the city, and outwent them, and came together unto him.

34) And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.'(KJV) When Jesus looks out over the world today--He sees many people who are like sheep without a shepherd.

He began to teach them that were in the crowd that followed Him.

Today He has given us a Bible that has within it's pages all the knowledge we need to know about anything good or evil.

Those who are believers in Jesus--read their Bibles--as He is talking to them.

For those in the crowd that followed Him, He called them lost sheep. But for those who believe in Him, He Says My sheep hear my voice, and I know them.

Today there are many people who do not read their Bible--and do not hear Him--and thus do not follow Him. The others who do read the Bible--as He speaks to us through His Word--He knows them and they follow Him.

Which sheep are you--one who reads His Word, and follows Him--as good sheep follow their shepherd, or have you not read is word--and do not know how to follow Him.
