MATTHEW 6:5-8 5) 'And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

6) But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut the door pray to the Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7) But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8) Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.'(KJV) These scripture verses were given by Jesus leading up to His giving His Menu of what your prayers should consist of.

Many call this list 'The Lord's Prayer' but it is a list of prayerful needs to ask for He doesn't want to hear His list of needs repeated over and over repeated He wants you to ask Him for them so that when your prayer is answered, He will be glorified for dong it.

Prayer is talking to Godfrom your heart--in your own words- not repeated words- but sincere words for sincere needs for yourself or for others needs.

Just get somewhere that you will not be interrupted, no phone, radio, TV, computer or any other interruption so that you can have a special quiet time with the Lord-and Pray Keep this scripture in mind: JAMES 5:16 : Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.'(KJV) If done properly--God always answers.
