PSALM 46:1 'God is our refuge and strength. a very present help in trouble'(KJV) Have you ever thought about why God allowed you to have fingernails on your fingers? It probably has never entered your mind.

But you see, God knows that your finger tips are subject to being injured--so He created you with fingernails for your own protection.

As stated above in PSALM 46:1 A refuge is a place of protection against some troublesome thing.

Just as you know your fingernails are there- just in case you may injure your finger, God uses other means to protect you from harm.

He gives you GRACE to overcome all temptation. This grace will guide you away from sin that will hurt you.

Your nails you can see for your finger protection, but your grace to protect you is spiritual.

Satan tries to get your mind to guide you away from the Lord's Ways. But grace will lead you away from any and all temptations of Satan.

You don't even think of your fingernail as your protection--yet they are there.

You don't think of God's grace being right there while Satan is trying to injure your spirit--when you refuse his temptations, that is when God's grace is between sin and God's Ways.

The grace of God is always there to protect you--God wants you to be protected from sin's temptations through His grace-just as He wants your fingers to be protected from physical injury.

You must pay attention to God's grace even more than you do your fingers when you are getting close to getting hurt.

Have you ever thought how your fingernails are to your fingers as God's Grace is to your spiritual life?
