We come to the end of 2018, it might be a good time to look back over the year. Last year about this time people check themselves and find that there is some improvements to be made in their life, so they make resolutions to themselves to correct or improve on those things.Quit smoking, get some rest, cut down a few pounds, exercise more, eat more balanced meals, be more patient with others and the list goes on. Some even resolve to attend church services more than two times a year. Some resolve to pick up their Bibles and read everyday. All these and more are worthy resolutions but the problem is, they say they will but they are not sincere in what they are saying and within a very short time they are back doing what they did again. This goes on year after year. Now we are approaching 2019 and people are faced with the fact that they did not accomplish the resolutions made in 2018. To fix this this year, don't promise yourself to do something that you are not sincere in accomplishing. In other words don't say it if you don't mean it. It is our nature not to do what we say. We serve God, who is true to His promises. If we read our Bibles that He says He will do something, He will do it. There are some things God cannot do. He cannot lie, He will not back down on a promise, He will not tempt you to do wrong. You can completely count on Him and His Word. He promised to send a redeemer. JOHN 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(KJV) JOHN 14:2,3 "In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you,and if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself: that where I am, there ye may be also."(KJV) If you do not make any other resolutions this year, make this one, I will believe the Word of God and put it in use in my life. Wouldn't this be a good one for everyone? Just Thought I'd Ask
