Just Thought I'd Ask

HE CAN DO IT BY HIMSELF, BUT....

By

PSALM 119:125-128 "I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies."(KJV) (testimony-1. A statement made to establish a fact-2- any affirmation or declaration)

"It is time for thee, O Lord, to work: for they have made void the law."(KJV) They is indicating the world in general and the worlds ways. But if the Lord is to work on the evil of today's worldly ways, He can do it by Himself but He wants us to be the ones through whom He can work. It is necessary for us to know His Word, live by His Word and publish His Word to others, by doing this in our life and by receiving God's grace for doing it, many of those who are living in the world's ways will come out from among them and be separated from the sinful life of the world and come under the blessings of the Lord.

"Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea above fine gold."(KJV)

The commandments to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul and mind and thy neighbor as thyself, these are the commandments of God. When we include these in our day to day life they will become more valuable than gold. The value of gold to God is very minor, He paves the streets of heaven with gold, but He values you much more and gives you a love for His commandments and all the Words of God given to us in our Bible.

"Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right: I hate every false way."(KJV)

Yes we are allowed to hate, But we are to be careful that what we hate is what God hates. God hates sin in any form. Some think a simple sin against God would be alright, but God hates all sin, one unconfessed sin before death could cause a person to be unable to enter into heaven. He hates people using His Name in Vain or in a derogatory manner. We are to hate what He hates and love what He loves.

Think on this: PSALM 31:19 "Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear (love) Thee; which Thou has wrought for them that trust in Thee before the son's of men:"(KJV)

We should never be shy to tell others why we do what we do and don't do what others do.

PSALM 32" 17,18 "Let me not be ashamed, O Lord, for I have called upon Thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent i the grave. Let the lying lips be put to silence which speak grevious things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous."(KJV)

Do you hate what God hates?
