MARK 12:24-27 "And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err (go astray), because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. And as touching (concerning) the dead, that they rise: have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush God spake unto him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living: ye therefore do greatly err." (KJV)

So people who go to heaven when they rise up from the grave when Jesus comes again---are given a new body, a pure body and are like the angels, not to be married or given in marriage but are to be pure, and worthy to be there to honor, praise and serve the Lord.

These will be raised from the dead and be in heaven with God. The same God who said, "I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." The God of the living now, and the God of the living then.

So we today are serving the same God who always was and will always be God.

What a wonderful God He is, to take sinful sinners, forgive them, and then raise them up to heaven with Him for eternity.

We do not deserve His forgiveness but through Jesus Christ's death on the cross, and repentance, and sincere belief that He, Jesus, rose from the dead, we can have the forgiveness of our sins, and everlasting life with Him in heaven.

People do not realize the Greatness of God because they do not know the scriptures, nor the Power of God.

This knowledge comes from the Bible. Read it, heed it, practice it and be rewarded for the promises in it.
