HIS WORD

By

PSALM 153:13-19 "Thy Name ,O Lord, endureth forever: and thy memorial, O Lord, throughout all generations. For the Lord will judge His people, and He will repent Himself concerning His servants. The idols of the heathen (a person regarded as uncivilized, irreligious; or originally, a member of any people not worshiping (God) are silver and gold, the work of man's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; they have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouth. They that make them are like unto them; so is anyone that trusteth in them. Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: Bless the Lord O house of Aaron: (KJV)

We see in these verses that the Name of the Lord will be established and will be endured forever. The Lord will judge His people and turn Himself, concerning His servants.

At one time the Lord felt that He should never have created man. But over the years as people began to love, honor and serve Him He rethought His own feelings concerning His servants. ( Those who are born again). He is not a god of silver or gold, but a Spiritual Being, who knows all, sees all, hears all and answers prayers.

On the other hand, these man were not believers in the Lord and they decided to make gods of their own. Now their idols or strange gods have mouths, but cannot speak; eyes, but cannot see; ears, but cannot hear, nor can they breath. And when they are set up upon a pedestal, that is the only place that they are. They are basically useless. Those who make the idols are useless unbelievers in the True God. And anyone that believes in the idols and unbelievers in the Lord and are useless for the cause of the Lord.

As we see the uselessness of idols we realize how great the Lord Truly is.

We should also bless the Lord for His mercy endureth forever. He cares for you, wants you to be happy here on earth, and has prepared a place for you in heaven for all eternity.

He will judge His people and bless them for their faithfulness as His servants, who love; honor and obey His Word, the Bible.

If you are not doing it then you must change for God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His Word the Bible does not change and should never be changed as stated in MATTHEW 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no way pass from the Law, till all be fulfilled. "(KJV)

Are you familiar with His Word, the Bible.
