PROVERBS 14:25 "A true witness delivereth souls: but a deceitful witness speaketh lies."(KJV)

We know that PROVERBS is a BOOK of WISDOM. So as we look into the verses in PROVERBS they are intended to give us wisdom.

This PROVERB 14:25 is telling us that one who tells the truth about Jesus and salvation through grace. His death on the cross was sufficient for full payment for our sins and the sins of any who hear the Word of God. Believe the Word of God and trust Jesus as their own personal Savior. This ,the Word of God is saying through Jesus and Him alone plus nothing.

Anyone who tells a person that to get saved requires something other than faith to be saved, this person is teaching lies.

There are many denominations that teach other options to get to heaven. Some teach Jesus plus something else and without the something else, you cannot be saved. This takes salvation by faith in Jesus alone to be salvation by works and no amount of works by a person would ever be sufficient to save them.

EPHESIANS 2:8,9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast."(KJV)

EPHESIANS 2:8,9 clearly tells us that anyone that teaches it re quires more than faith in Jesus and repentance of sins to be saved is speaking lies.

That is Satan's way of making people believe that they have something that they simply do not have and unfortunately rather that going to expected heaven, they will end up in an unexpected hell because they believed the lies of deceitful witnesses.

Be sure that when you tell others of salvation that you know for sure that it is in and through Jesus and Him only. There is nothing a person can do for themselves but believe in faith in Jesus.
