Just Thought I'd Ask
JESUS TOLD WHAT TO LOOK FOR, BUT NOT THE WHEN!
MARK 13:3-8 "And as he sat upon the Mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled? And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: for many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and deceive many, And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must be: but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers ( various ) places, and there shall be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows."(KJV)
Today people are all interested in what it will be like in the end times.
Even when Jesus was with his disciples, the question came up.
Jesus did not tell them when it would be but He gave them some things to look for that will let them know that it will be coming soon after these things happen. But He said they are just the beginnings and the beginning of sorrows.
Now as we see these things happening--world wide--we can consider them as the beginnings of sorrows.
The Bible is divided into sections of approximately 2000- years each. From the Creation to the flood around 2000 years, then 2000 years later Jesus came, then since Jesus lived and Died has been just over 2000 years.
The Bible is a cycled book of History and the future.
Jesus told what to look for--but not the when. So those who are not saved need to get saved. And those who are saved should be daily loving, honoring , and serving the Lord and telling others.
